Micro 4/3 would be so much better. Drop Black Magic Design a note about it; they are very responsive, so the more people who ask for a M4/3 mount, the sooner they will do it.

Andrew-- Those are all questions that are already on the tip of my tongue, but I can guarantee you that Panasonic won't give us any answers to them. I've interviewed Jan before, and although she is really cool and a great interviewee, she won't tell us those things. Panasonic is as tight-lipped as Apple when it comes to new product news. I would think, though, considering the lack of AF100 news and updates from them since it was introduced, that there has to be something in the works for NAB. Cross your fingers!

Best,

Darren

Could you ask when they expect to release the successor to the AF100, the New name, If its going to be P2, if it's going to have Intra 100 and 10 bit color Processing. These would be the question I would ask myself but I'm not going to be able to make it to NAB this year:(

You figure out the wiggle on your ikan FF? Mine is the same as yours. All these screws but I don't want to mess it up cranking something too tight. Let me know if you got it fixed.

No, when the AF100 is in VFR mode, no audio is recorded at all. The invisible file I was referring to were the files that are saved onto media when it is inserted into a Mac computer.

By invisible file, do you mean that with VFR the af100 actually records audio files? IS there a way to resurrect them?

thanks.

By invisible file, do you mean that the af100 records audio but it is invisible? Is there a way to actually get audio off of files?

Thanks.
